Boulder County Aids Project

Thank you to all groups who submitted their video submissions! The board greatly appreciated the energy and creativity involved in the production of the proposals. Not only did we get a great sense of your needs, we could for the first time see the faces behind the mission. In making our grants for this quarter, we thought that every organization did a fantastic job of showcasing their organizations in the new video format. Our decision was a tough one and ultimately came down to how certain projects resonated with our board. The Boulder County Aids project received $250 to subsidize the cost of food and transportation related to an annual retreat for their youth-led SHAPE program.

TLC Learning Center

The SHAPE (Sexual Health & Aids Awareness Peer Education) program works closely with Boulder County public schools to raise awareness on aids/sexual health issues at a peer to peer level. The TLC Learning Center was awarded $250 for the purchase of a rocking chair and a mini fridge to make their new lactation room more accommodating. Their organization works to prepare children of all backgrounds for success in providing preschool, child care, and infant care. Thanks again for submitting your proposals. We cant’t wait to review your clips for next quarter.
